Honestly, I much prefer when it's just the instructor and a single, competent student. Whenever a course introduces a whole group - especially when those students struggle - it just bogs everything down. It makes the lessons feel disorganized and chaotic, which totally kills my focus.
I had a fantastic experience with it! Even though I eventually moved on to other things, being able to stream the audio while taking walks was a game-changer for me - it gave me a perfect excuse to get out of the house. I've recommended it to so many friends who found success with it too. The tempo is a perfect sweet spot: slow enough that you can catch and correct your own mistakes, but fast enough to keep you engaged. It helped me progress way faster than Duolingo, which started to feel incredibly limiting after a while.
That's interesting, because I absolutely couldn't just walk around while listening. I had to sit down, focus completely, and keep my finger on the pause button. One trick I used was opening up Google Translate and using the voice-to-text feature to say my answers out loud. It let me double-check my pronunciation and actually see how the words were spelled. That might not be as necessary if you're already familiar with the alphabet, but it's a lifesaver when you're learning a brand new script.
